Tatyama gave up 5 runs with two outs yesterday in the seventh inning to the Oakland Athletics while the Angels blanked the Yankees for the second day in a row. Neither of those things can happen if the Rangers want to win the West. Now, while the Rangers cannot control what the Angels do, They need to have more passion and play harder, in my humble opinion. They cannot lose to the Athletics when the Angles are breathing down their necks. The difference is now 1 game in the loss column, and the Angels are playing like a team that can taste the post season while the Rangers are playing like a team that thought they already made the post season and are now scrambling to get the intensity level back up again. They look tired and like they are not having as much fun as they did a month ago, and they are not even doing the Rooster or whatever their new handsignal is called near as much as they were. I am worried that the West may be decided soon, and it won’t be the Rangers. The Angels look like the yare having fun, the Rangers do not. That has me worried. Am I the only one?
