The Rangers had won 5 games in a row before last night, and Detroit finally snapped that. The Tigers came to play at home, and I expected nothing less. There is a reason that the Tigers beat the Yankees and made it to the ALCS, they are a really good team. The Rangers are still up 2-1 in the series, and they (I believe) weathered the storm of the trip to Detroit. Now, they need to get back to winning. I think that they can today. The Rangers are the better team, but they have never played well in Detroit. I like to remember that they had never won a playoff series or beat the Yankees in the playoffs before last season, so things can change. Look for Matt Harrison to have a great game today, and dominate the line up of the Detroit Tigers. Also, the bats did not look that bad last night, they just could not bring guys across the plate. Look for that to change today also. I think it is very important that the Rangers win this one because they will have to play against Justin Verlander tomorrow, and we all know that is a tough job. I look forward to todays game!
