The Texas Rangers are now 27 outs away from their second straight World Series, and only the second Series in Rangers franchise history. Nelson Cruz looks like the front runner for ALCS MVP as far as everyone is concerned, but I don’t want to overlook the job that Mike Napoli did tonight. Mike had a huge tag on a great throw from Cruz, a big throw to second to get a caught stealing, and a huge hit that gave the Rangers a 1 run lead. It was not the prettiest game that I have ever seen, but it did get the job done and the offense came alive in the end. I would like to see the offense come alive tomorrow early in the game, but that is hard to imagine with arguably the best pitcher in baseball going against them tomorrow at home. I look for the Rangers to keep Detroit down and, once again in a close game, close it out late. I really hope that I am right and we can celebrate tomorrow night as Rangers fans our second straight World Series appearance, but this time, the Rangers need to win the whole thing!! Lets Go Rangers!! 27 more outs to the World Series!!
