The Rangers reached an agreement with right handed relief pitcher Darren O’Day on Sunday which is reportedly for $1.251 million for the 2011 season. O’Day had a real good season for the Rangers in 2010 in the regular season and in the post season. He had 72 appearences in 2010, a career high, and he had an ERA of 2.03. I am a big fan of Darren, and I am glad that he will be around for a while longer with the Rangers organization.
That only leaves Frank Francisco and Josh Hamilton and the two players left who are eligable for arbitration, and we have already discussed Josh here on this site. I will keep you posted on anything else as soon as I hear it.
