The Rangers right now are on an almost historic tear through the AL. They went to Minnesota and took all 3 games by outscoring the Twins 14-6. Then, they went to Boston and shocked the Red Sox by shelling them 18-3 and then finishing them off 6-3 to sweep that series. Tonight, they faced the second best team in the AL according to almost everyone (including ESPN, although they have NY Yankees as the no. 1 team instead of the Rangers [the sarcasm is free, by the way]) and they shelled them 10-3, and it was not near that close. This is a very tough part of the schedule for the Rangers, and so far they look the same as they did playing the Mariners and the Twins. They look great. The Rangers are 1st in team ERA with an ERA of 2.33, 1st in earned runs allowed with just 28, and on the offensive side they have the most hits by 9 (122), the fourth most doubles, the most home runs (22), the most rbi’s (67), the highest team batting average (.293) the list goes on and on. Lets celebrate our 11-2 Rangers right now and enjoy this run while it lasts, but lets not get to high with this and not get too low when then lose a couple later in the season. By the looks of it, way later in the season.
