Tonight interleague play starts all over baseball. We will be watching the Silver Boot series here in Texas. The Rangers have dominated the series overall, and I do not think it will be any different this season. The Astros have given away most of their good players in hopes that they can rebuild with young talent and be good again. So far, it has not worked real well, but sometimes you have to take many steps back before taking 1 step forward. Tonight’s matchup is going to be a good one, pitting Neftali Feliz against Wandy Rodriguez. Wandy is the only Astro pitcher that I worry about when the Ranger and Astros play these days, and I want to see how Nefti does every start out. Look for the Rangers to get to Rodriguez before the Astros get to Feliz. And look for Feliz to look halfway decent at the plate tonight, if the Rangers let him swing the bat at all, that is.
