The Silver Boot stays in Arlington! The Rangers have won the Silver Boot Series for what seems like the 5th year in a row at least. And, besides that, the Rangers haves now won 3 straight series. I believe that it was right here that I stated that interleague play would be good for the Rangers record, and it looks like I was right. The Rangers gave no run support early to rookie pitcher Justin Grimm. But they came around in the 6th inning, which was capped off by huge Nelson Cruz 3 run homerun. The Rangers added a few more runs later, but that hr made the score 5-3, and once again the Rangers pen shut down the opponent. I was very impressed with Justin Grimm tonight, and I was also impressed with the way the Rangers bats came through late in the game. Looking forward to tomorrow to see if the Rangers can sweep the Astros and get ready for more interleague play!
