The Rangers are the first team in the majors to 50 wins and they just won their 7th series in a row. They are also 21 games over .500 at 50-29. The pitching seems to be okay, with Martin Perez getting the start and the win and Michael Kirkman finishing the game, letting Robbie Ross, Mike Adams and Joe Nathan get a night off. I have enjoyed watching Rangers baseball for many, many years (even when they were bad), but I have never enjoyed them overcoming adversity like they have so far in the 2012 campaign. The mathematical halfway point of the season comes Tuesday against the White Sox, and the Rangers are already on pace for 100 win season, without Derek Holland, Neftali Feliz, Alexi Ogando, Colby Lewis, Mitch Moreland and now Mark Lowe. This team is scary good! And when the yget all of their players back, they will be even better. Watch out MLB, the first team to 50 wins in 2012 may just be the best team in baseball. Back to back to back world series sounds pretty good to me!
