The Texas Rangers took care of business against the Tigers over the weekend, defeating them in 2 out of 3 games. Yu Darvish and Derek Holland looked good again, and Hamilton is looking like a beast again. And it could not be timed better. The Rangers headed to NY last night to take on the Yankees for the next 4 straight games. Love them or hate them (and if you are reading my site, you probably hate them!), no one can deny the talent and tradition of the NY Yankees. They are good, and that is a perineal thing for them. The Rangers took 2 out of three from the Yankees all the way back in April. This is an important series. The Rangers have a half game lead over those Yankees right now for the best record in the AL, and since the NL has home field advantage in the World Series, I would love for the Rangers to win home field for the AL postseason series. The Rangers have Dempster going tonight, and we all know we have seen two of him so far this season. One pitched bad in his first starter, and the other pitched good in his second start. I hope the good one shows up tonight.
So lets get ready to set in for a very entertaining 4 game series between two of the best teams in baseball, and lets hope our team comes out on top.
