If you are on Twitter, and who isn’t these days, you have noticed lately that fake accounts for real journalists have been popping up everywhere. People making claims that some certain Rangers player has signed with some certain team. I, for one, am getting tired of wading through the fake reports. I guess the fun in it for the people doing it is they have fooled a few real journalists and bloggers who are trying to keep up with this stuff and entertain and inform their readers. It is part of the Rickey Bobby mentality of “if your not first, your last.” Well, I have never claimed to be first, and now I will be a little later because I want to make sure and give you, my readers, accurate information. I love writing about the Texas Rangers and I love tweeting back and forth with Rangers fans. I guess I am going to be last. I would rather be last and right than first and have egg on my face. Whatever that means. But whatever happens with the Rangers in the near future and beyond, I promise you I will have an opinion on it! Thanks as always for reading/listening and go Rangers!
