The Rangers locked up Matt Harrison to a five year, fifty five million dollar contract extension yesterday. Matt has been one of the clubs most consistent pitchers over the past two seasons and is part of that young staff that has been helping the team in their recent success. Harrison is one of four starting pitchers under thirty that the Rangers have control of for at least the next four seasons (Harrison, Holland, Ogando and Darvish). With pitchers and catchers reporting in less than a month, this team is really starting to shape up into what it is going to be in 2013. I can’t wait for baseball to be back.
