The Rangers needed to win seven games in a row to make it to the post season in 2013. So far, they have won six of those seven games necessary. Today is the final day of the regular season, and a big day for Rangers fans. Yu Darvish is on the mound, and he needs to be great. The Rangers offense needs to score early and often. They need to put the Angels away quickly. The Rays play two hours before the Rangers, so we should know if the Rangers have to play tomorrow in a game 163 or if they win or lose the last wild card spot.
We all remember losing the division on the last day of the season in 2012, and no one wants to see a repeat of that. The Rangers look like a team on a mission to me right now, and the mission is not yet finished. If the Rangers are to win it all, they need to win at 13 more games this season.
