A whole lot went right for the Texas Rangers in 2013 to enable them to win 91 games. One of the main things being the Houston Astros being moved to the AL West and one of the other things being that the Angels really sucked.
Over the next week or so, I am going to to an autopsy of sorts on the 2013 Rangers, look at what went wrong, what went right, what happened and speculate on what the Rangers will do moving forward (Free Agent acquisitions, players that won’t be back, ect.). The way the season ended was bittersweet, because the Rangers, after being completely out of it, won seven straight games and got themselves into a tie breaking game to try and advance to the postseason.
I would like to thank all of you that interacted with us here at the Ranger Report during this season, and tell you how much I enjoyed it. I appreciate being able to discuss my favorite thing with people who were once complete strangers, but now, after a full season of chatting about baseball, i feel like I know. I would also like to say a special thanks for all of you who prayed for me when I went through back surgery at the beginning of the season. You will never k ow how much it helped me get back on my feet… Literally! Go Rangers!!
