The Texas Rangers are very bad at the moment, but that hasn’t stopped third ba
seman Adrian Beltre from having a .341 batting average, which is leading the American League. Adrian Beltre doesn’t seem to be effected by the major slump that his team is going through right now. The Texas Rangers are not playing good ball at all. New comer Jake Smolinski has done well so far, but other than that, no one is really crushing the ball on a regular basis other than Beltre.
Adrian Beltre is the type of player that wouldn’t be effected by these things. He goes about his business the same way everyday no matter what is happening around him. He is a great example for the young players that are on this team right now, and I really hope the Texas Rangers don’t make the mistake of trading him in the next few weeks. A Beltre trade would not be worth it unless they can get a Mark Teixera type haul from a trade.
While the Texas Rangers are currently unwatchable, Adrian Beltre is far from it. He and Elvis always look like they are having fun, and they play like it too. Maybe the rest of the team will catch up eventually, I sure hope so, because I don’t know if I can take a second half of the season like the first half we just went through.
