Call me crazy but why don’t the Rangers bring in Russell Wilson for one game? What’s the worst that can happen? The Rangers are having one of the worst seasons ever. Bringing Russell Wilson in for a game would boost ticket sales for that game and probably jersey sales for a while. It would be the talk of all the major sports networks.
To call this season for the Rangers a disaster is certainly and understatement and the club could certainly use some positive talk. The shortstop/quarterback would certainly help with that.
Seriously think about it? What do they have to lose besides more games? They’re doing that without Russell Wilson. Give him a couple at-bats and time on defense and if he’s that much of a disaster then you can pull him.
Yes, perhaps I am crazy and I’m OK with that. I just think it would be something Rangers fans can get excited about, even if it is just for a game or an at-bat for that matter. Why not Russell Wilson?
