We all knew that Bogar was going to be in the mix after the way the Texas Rangers finished the season, and I am not surprised about either Cash or Banister. All would make good managers, but I think that the job should go to Tim Bogar. The Rangers finished the season so well under the direction of Tim Bogar, that I believe that he earned the spot. Mike Maddux, who was one of the candidates until today, has said that he wants to stay with the Texas Rangers according to Jeff Wilson of the Ft. Worth Star Telegram.
Mike Maddux, whose contract is up, wants to return to the club in 2015. “My commitment to the #Rangers and the players has never wavered.”

So what do you think out there in Texas Rangers world? Should Tim Bogar be the next manager, should it be one of the outsiders? Should it be someone else. We would love to hear what you think. Let us know on Twitter, Facebook or right here in the comments section below. My opinion is that is should be Tim Bogar, and I believe that he is going to do a good job next season in turning a terrible team, albeit ravaged with injury, back into a winning team. I don’t have playoff hopes next season, but I do have hopes of near 85-90 wins depending on what the team looks like.
