First of all I would like to say that the Hague Sports and The Ranger Report radio show are now live on the same website over at the Hague Sports. It will still be podcast to The Ranger Report page, but if you want to listen live you will have to go there. We have began using the pay side of Blog Talk Radio and it only made sense to purchase one account and do both shows from it. The show we did last night will be up later today here.
C.J. Wilson gave up one run in 5 innings, and when he left the game the Rangers were up 9-2. He did a great job, Mark Lowe and Darren O’Day did not do a great job. Mark Lowe gave up 4 earned runs and 5 hits in 1 inning of work, O’Day gave up 2 earned runs in 2 innings of work, and Seth McClung gave up 3 runs in 2/3 of an inning. All in all, the bullpen performed really bad last night, including two guys who are supposed to be regulars in the Major’s this season (Lowe and O’Day). I am beginning to be a little worried about our bullpen and think it is a better idea to have Nefti in the pen this season. And maybe either Holland, Hunter or Harrison, whichever one does not make the rotation. It feels like a few seasons ago right now, everytime a starter comes out I cringe. Stay tuned for more news.
