It was close for a while. Then it was tied for a while. Then David Murphy pinch hit for Julio Borbon, and it was no longer tied or close! The Rangers take the Red Sox by a score of 9-5. It was a great game to watch and it was probably a great game to be at (I hate you Ross). The Rangers were given no shot to be a good team by all of the “professionals” once again, which usually makes me happy (kind of like my decision to not like a movie than it wins a lot of oscars). C.J. Wilson only gave up 2 earned runs, the Borbon error did not wind up costing the Rangers the game, and Lester was unable to strike out ANY of the Ranger hitters! I cannot wait to see what this season holds for us, but for now I will enjoy the 1-0 record and get ready to cheer the Rangers on tomorrow at the ballpark.
