It took 6 years, 96 million dollars, but it is now official. The Rangers have replaced Michael Young at 3rd base with Adrian Beltre. He is a veteran 3rd baseman with some serious range, and he is coming off a great season for the Red Sox. I was against this signing at the start, but, as I predicted yesterday, he now is a Ranger. I am hopeful that the Rangers and Beltre can form a relationship that will work out for both the team and Beltre. I look forward to writing more in the near future and look for the Ranger Report on Blog Talk Radio tonight to discuss this as well as Brandon Webb and other moves.
