The Rangers have traded Mike Minor to the Athletics for outfielder Marcus Smith and third baseman Dustin Harris, this according to Levi Weaver of the Athletic. Minor was having a down year but he showed good stuff in his last start. Smith is very young and is not going to be major league ready any time soon, but he has potential. Harris is the same.
The Rangers have made it clear that some players would be moving today, I have a very strong feeling that this is the first of a few moves they plan on making.
