Our Rangers Bracket is now down to the last four. As expected, It is down to the four number one seeds. The bracket was set up before 1992 and after 1992. On the before side we have Nolan Ryan vs. Ivan Rodriguez. On the after side we have Adrian Beltre vs. Michael Young. It could not have worked out better.
We now need your help to decide. This is where the bracket gets really tough. We are going to have to get this down to two people. How do we choose between the four greatest players in franchise history? We vote. I cannot tell you at this point who the winner will be.
Pudge vs. Nolan
I am not sure how we are going to complete this, but we as fans are going to have to pick one. Both men are Rangers legends. Both are beloved. Each has their place in Rangers history. In the words of the Highlander, “There can be only one”. Just like you, I get only one vote. Ryan was the first player to really legitimize the Rangers and Pudge was the Rangers first home grown superstar.
Young vs. Beltre
Mr. Ranger vs one of the all time favorites. Adrian Beltre was beloved his entire time in Texas and still is. Michael Young is the same. Michael holds many Rangers records. This one for me is going to be the most difficult to vote on. I want both these guys to win it all, but only one can. I will have to make my choice at some point, and so will you. We all know the numbers and the reason they are both loved by Rangers nation. Good luck!
Two will move on to the final round. One from the left side of the bracket and one from the right. The problem is after this decision we have an even tougher on, who will win!
