Darren O’Day was placed on the 60 day DL today, and RHP Ryan Tucker was called up from AAA ball to replace him on the roster. O’Day will have to have surgery on his torn labrum in his left hip. Who is Ryan tucker you may ask?
Tucker has had 7 seasons in the minors, he was with AAA Round Rock and has gotten into 6 games so far this season. He has struck out 10 while walking 3. He spent some time in the majors with the Marlins back in 2008, it did not go well with an ERA of 8.27. We will see when he gets into his first game.
