Frisco has been having a really nice season so far in 2021. If you haven’t been paying attention you should. Especially now that Josh Jung is there. The pitching has been great, they have some offensive production, and they are fun to watch.
Cole Winn has a 2.56 ERA in 38.2 innings pitched. Jake Latz has a 2.87 ERA in 31.1 innings. AJ Alexy has a 0.74 ERA in 24.1 innings pitched. Joe Gatto is sitting with a 0.98 ERA. These are great numbers y’all. Did I mention that Cole Uvila is seven out of seven in save opportunities?
On the offensive side guys like Bubba Thompson (.262/.329/.463), Ryan Dorrow (.333/.394/.600) and of course Josh Jung (.348/.423/.609) have been doing well at the plate.
Josh Stowers leads the team in home runs with eight, Sherten Apostle and Steele Walker have six, and a group of players have four homers. This team is getting it done at home and on the road in 2021.
The Riders have a four game lead over the next best team (San Antonio) in their division. They have the best record overall in the AA Central.
