Ben and CJ get joined by Texas Rangers prospect Blaine Crim on the latest addition of the Podcast, brought to you as always by Waltons. Blaine tells the guys about draft day, playing in the minors, what the COVID year was like and several other things along the way. When asked about the best advice he had been given as a professional player, Crim told us:
“I would say it’s probably like, that your a teammate and a friend and you know, quote on quote a brother first and not really like a player, because you get so wrapped up and you know, being a player and being a(n)employee of the Rangers and when you do that, you can put all this pressure on yourself and it takes away the fact that we’re playing a kids game. But if you just when I’ve been able to take that mindset of going out there and playing a kids game and actually enjoying it rather than treating it as a job is it makes it way more fun.”
Crim continued when he told us about trying to play football in high school as well as the funniest thing anyone has said to him during a game. The podcast would like to thank Blaine Crim for taking time away from his vacation to come on and share some of his time with us. Don’t miss this or any other episode of the podcast. Big things are coming in 2022 for the show and you want be there for all of it!
