The slumping Texas Rangers have fallen to third place and have lost 8 of their last 9 series. It does not seem to matter if they are home or abroad at the moment, they cannot buy a win (like the Yankees do all the time). But, and I still cannot stress this enough Ranger fans, it is May and the A’s and the Angels are going to struggle at some point of the season. The Rangers had a better record than this last season, but not much. Don’t jump off the bus because it has slowed down a little bit.
Tommy Hunter return delayed – Hunter restrained the groin muscle that put him on the DL for the begining of the season is his rehab start the other day. This is bad news for Ranger fans who were hoping that he would replace Matt Harrison in the rotation. Hunter will be re-evaluated and then we will get the news on him.
Hamilton will practice batting – Josh Hamilton will start batting practice on Friday and said that his return will likely be in 2 to 3 weeks.
