The Rangers have now won 8 straight games, their longest such streak of the season. And Derek Holland, after lasting just 2/3 on an inning 3 starts ago, has now thrown 18 straight scorless innings, both were complete games. Derek has shown what he is capable of, and of course he has also shown us why the Rangers were never willing to give him up in a trade. Holland was nothing short of brilliant, and I hope he continues to stay that way. The Rangers are now 11 games over .500, and they lead the West by 1.5 games.
