When Derek Holland is on, he is really on! Today, Derek did something that only Cliff Lee has pulled off so far this season. Threw his 4th complete game shutout. Derek has been impressive all year long in my opinion, and he seems to rebound much better than he used to in seasons past from a bad start. His last start against the Angels was one such start, and what does he do after it? He goes out and throws another complete game shutout! This was Derek Hollands third shutout in his last 5 games. I think he is really making a turn this season, and I think the rest of the AL better watch out for Mr. Holland the rest of the 2011 season and then in the 2012 season as well. And if you look at what the Rangers have in the minor league system, I am starting to think that the Rangers are going to be competitors for the AL Crown for many years to come. Am I wrong?
